Amara’s journey #1 – A desert nomad orphan

Once upon a time, in the vast and merciless desert, Anauroch, there existed a tribe of Bedine desert nomads who called themselves the Al’Hashim. Amongst them was a young girl named Amara, who possessed a fiery spirit that matched the scorching sands that surrounded their oasis.

Life had always been harsh in the desert, but a devastating famine brought the Al’Hashim to the brink of despair. The fertile lands of their oasis withered under the relentless sun, and the once plentiful water sources dwindled to a mere trickle. In a desperate attempt to secure sustenance for their tribe, the men of the Al’Hashim set out to wage war against a rival tribe.

Tragically, the conflict resulted in heavy casualties for the Al’Hashim. Many warriors perished, leaving the tribe vulnerable and exposed. Amara, forced to witness the devastation, refused to succumb to sorrow. Determined to protect the younger children and elders, she resolved to master the ways of the desert warriors.

Learning from ancient teachings passed down through generations, Amara embraced the art of barbarian combat. She honed her physical strength and sharpened her senses, becoming a formidable protector of her people. With her skill and resilience, she could outmatch even the most seasoned warriors who dared to cross her path.

As Amara tried to protect the remaining people of her tribe, she unexpectedly awakens her celestial heritage, she gains extraordinary abilities to heal others and create radiant light that dispels darkness. In that pivotal moment, she hears the soothing voice of her long-lost angelic ancestor calling to her, guiding her through the transformation. However, the identity of this celestial figure remains a mystery, leaving Amara both inspired and curious.

However, their hardships were far from over. As if the desert gods themselves conspired against them, slavers raided the oasis one fateful day. The cruel marauders attacked without mercy, enslaving those they deemed valuable and mercilessly slaughtering the rest. She saw her sister, Layla, dying by a slaver’s sword. Amara, alongside her fellow captives, faced an unimaginable plight.
